Back in in medical schol when we lived in New Orleans our friend Mindy along with Kristi decided to start a quilt group. Mind you none of us knew how to sew. Well, ever since then we have done exchanges over the years and now 4 kids later I really don't have the time or energy to do so. However, my good friend Chanel called me up and asked if I would want to do one. Hestitantly, I agreed and am so glad. It was a flip flop block exchange and being from San Antonio I couldn't resist on doing a Texas themed one. I just got an email from her and they had their exchange this week and so I am anxiously waiting for all of my different blocks "good mail" to arrive! I am excited to piece this one together since I have yet to make a summer quilt!
