Is Friday Over?
This morning started off with a bang. I think my kids must be coming down with something because Luke woke up screaming three times last night (12, 2, and 4:00am) and then to top it off the last one Weston was screaming along with him. The bummer part of having little kids is you never quite know why they are screaming.....
Well, its official school is now out for the summer here in San Antonio! I had a busy morning Jared had his kinder graduation. His teacher was so amazing and was the perfect "ideal" kinder teacher that we hope our child will get. (I updated pictures below). I ended up walking up to the school since I wasn't going to have time to do my normal route so I thought I would endure and had an extra mile. (its amazing how much more tired you get) Anyways, Luke & Weston had a blast since after the graduation the kids had splash day at school and got to wear their swimming clothes. Unfortunately during his grand time he lost one of his shoes (i was kinda bummed about this). Afterwards we walked home which I felt took eternity and both boys were sorta groggy from all of the play and feeling a little under the weather.
Angie and I decided that we should live it up for our last day of freedom and go to lunch. The bummer part is we didn't have any convienent babysitters around so we took the plunge and went with the three little ones to Chuys (our favorite mexican restaurant) The entire time we were both a little worrisome that Luke was going to throw up any minute. (he was lying on the chair with a blanket rocking and looking mighty pale) So we made and executive decision got our food to go and went home. Luckily we haven't had an incident yet, but he is now sleeping on the couch. So I can chalk it up for the bad mom award and putting my needs before my kids. All for some creamy jalapeno!
On a random side note: I really have no idea where he might of gotten the bug, but after getting off the phone with Bridget (who came into town a few days ago) sounds like all of her kids got it as well. I will cross my fingers for you Ang. Hope everyone gets better soon!! Does this always have to happen when my husband is on call or gone??? AHHH!
