Preparation
No, I am not preparing for a trip....but a day at Fiesta Texas with the 4 kiddos plus Jared's friend Josh. This week is bring a friend for free if you have an annual pass. Since I have actually never take the opportunity I thought I should. I actually have to wake up earlier than I would like to make sandwiches, grab sufficient water (its going to be 98 today), snacks, towels, and plenty of sunscreen.
The kids have swimteam at 9am I have to be ready so we can leave straight to the water park. Its amazing how much you really have to plan just to spend a few hours at the water park. The sad part is I have to concock a secret hiding place for the food. They no longer allow anything in the park like they used to. So I will be placing sandwiches between towels and other secret compartments. It really stinks because the only thing they offer is hamburgers and hotdogs, and soda. What 1 year old will really eat that??
So I am going to make my checklist just to be sure that I have everything!
1. towels
2. sunscreen
3. food/snacks/drinks
4. extra swim diaper
5. dry clothes
6. double stroller
7. sunglasses
8. passes
9. camera
10. Most importantly---PATIENCE
