Glory Days

My mom would take a picture of each of us on the 1st day of school. This was the 1st day of school my senior year in high school. I remember I loved this denium Guess outfit and of course my birkenstocks. I think I wore them with EVERY outfit. I may have not had "high" bangs such as Tasha or a lot of volume like Mindy, but I was the Queen of curly frizz!! My hair would only stay curly for a few hours because I have such bone straight hair. So no matter how much Aqua Net, gel, or mousse I applied it would straighten into frizz. And don't you love my bushy eyebrows?? I also never was one to wear makeup, I guess I never knew how to apply it.

I think I mastered putting hotsticks in my hair. I remember my good friend Jenny D. had them as well. (I always thought she had cool stuff because she had her older sister Jill to look up to). She and I both had straight hair and well back in the 90's it was cool to have curly poofy hair! I am sure people thought I was crazy because I would wear them in my hair to school since I had to be there by 6 am for cheer/pom practice. I knew if I didn't leave them in-- my hair would not hold. Oh, the things we did in highschool to obtain a look! Okay, now I feel as though this is a tag....so for those of you who haven't posted their glory day picture its your turn!!
