Blah

Prepared to be bored. I don't really have anything to write or post very exciting today. So I thought I would just run through my mundane day.

- I woke up and went for my daily 3.5 mile walk-nothing to eventful there--
- Doug & I went to Wal-mart to pick up some last minute things for our ward pancake breakfast we are in charge of tomorrow and went to Dollar Tree to get some balloons for the morning 5K run. While we were there Doug picked me up some of my favorite candy laffy taffy banana sticks--yum!!
-The funny thing about them was on the way home all of my kids wanted some so Jared went into the bag to get some and Luke literally started FREAKING out.

(Even though this is an old picture freaking out is a normal occurrence in our home)

Doug and I could not figure out why and pretty much walked away from him. He is very sensitive to noise sometimes with plastic bags (weird I know) so I thought it was that, but he kept repeating "Jared--Taylor your head is going to blow UP!" "Please stop eating that!!"Finally after about the third time saying that Jared explained to us that he thought they were eating those airhead candies and on the commercial the little kids head blows up. Once I figured out why he was so scared I could not stop laughing. Its funny what 3 year olds pick up off the television set.

Anyways, Doug had afternoon clinic so I put the boys to bed called up Angie and told her we were going to tackle her closet that she has been wanting to clean out. She was a little hestitant, but with much persuasion she finally agreed. So I put Taylor in charge and I went off down the street. After a few hours of organizing we got a lot done. Taylor called me a few times to check in and report and the last time she called she told me I better get home. I asked her what was going on in which she replied "Luke has gone poop on the potty is now off the toliet and running all around the house without his clothes off." I think that was my que to go home. Don't worry there wasn't any presents pasted anywhere he was just a naked jaybird running around the house--I finally got his clothes back on and it was time to start dinner. Doug had just gotten home so I called Angie and told her to come down and eat with us. (I wanted to make sure she was eating since Greg has been gone for over 10 days now). We ate dinner and Taylor did a fabulous job doing FHE along with Kenzi (Mackenzi now likes to be called this). They did a powerpoint presentation on how to properly say prayers. Pretty impressive I must say! (I should have taken a picture but didn't).

Once dinner was over the kids went down and played for about an hour at Angie's while Doug and I set up for our pancake breakfast at Bassett Park. Now that the kids are in bed,I guess I best be off to since we have to get up at the crack of dawn for our extravenganza!! Well, until next time-- heres to a more eventful day tomorrow!
